Tour Our Lodge

Welcome to Mica.

Our lodge is nestled in the Canadian Rockies overlooking the mighty Columbia River at the base of Mount Dainard, and offers fifteen thousand square feet of mountain living to twenty guests per tour. The lodge was designed by CEI Architecture with the ultimate comfort of our guests in mind, and boasts stunning views of the Rocky, Selkirk and Monashee Mountain ranges out of every window. Build by Vic Van Isle Construction in 2012, we are proud to call this little piece of paradise home. Below is a sampling of the sights, sounds and tastes that characterize the Mica Lodge experience.

Our guides await your arrival on the helipad at the north end of the lodge.

The front view of the lodge showcases its structure and multiple windows carefully situated to maximize the panoramic view from inside.

Friendly lodge staff are here to meet you and help you get acquainted with your new surroundings.

Your first stop will be the dining room. This is the heart of lodge where guests converge to dine, drink wine and share stories from their day.

Adjacent to the dining room is a cozy lounge. The wood burning fireplace draws guests to relax with their morning coffee, read a book or enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. At our bar, grab an intimate drink with a friend or a shotski from the bar. Whatever you choose, our bar promises to be a memorable apres-ski experience. Just up the stairs is a peaceful nook. Games, satellite television and comfy reading chairs wait for you to get comfortable.

Find also our spacious boot room with individual ski lockers means your gear stays dry and organized for the duration of your stay. Each individual ski locker is equipped with a personal boot dryer, private storage and hooks to hang your pack, transceiver and outerwear.

After skiing, reminisce on the highlights of the day while taking in peaceful views from the front deck. Nothing soothes tired ski legs like a soak and inspiring vistas, our rooftop hot tub offers a unique spa experience!

It's your turn to relax.

Last minute or full-body, Mica has you covered. A massage chair is located conveniently in the boot room for last minute massages before guests head out to the mountains. Or our massage suites offer a quiet retreat to loosen tense muscles and relax. When it comes time to rest, you'll find yourself in a spacious suite complete with a deluxe ensuite bathroom, luxurious duvet and pillowtop mattresses. Original art pieces by local artists grace the walls of each suite and can be seen throughout the building.
