Summary
Mica Heliskiing is seeking a full-time, seasonal Radio Dispatch & Lodge Support team member to be based at Mica Lodge. This role is central to daily operations and safety, serving as a key communication link between the ski program, lodge, office team, and guests, while also supporting retail and lodge functions.
The position operates on a shiftwork-based schedule.

- Work Term: January 1, 2026 - April 15, 2026 (Full-time, seasonal)

Job Description
The Radio Dispatch & Lodge Support role is a critical position within Mica Heliskiing’s daily operations and safety program. This individual serves as the central communication link between the Mica Lodge, ski program, office team, and guests, while also supporting retail and lodge operations. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, composure under pressure, and a genuine passion for guest service in a remote, luxury wilderness environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Radio Dispatch & Safety Communications
- Maintain clear, accurate, and professional radio communication between the Mica Lodge and the ski program
- Act as the primary point of contact for relaying real-time updates between the ski program, lodge departments, and Mica office
- Keep detailed records of helicopter movements and daily flight activity
- Track and document guest locations throughout the ski day
- Support and actively participate in Mica Heliskiing’s safety culture
- Be confident and prepared to implement Mica’s Emergency Response Plan when required
Retail Support
- Assist guests with outfitting, retail purchases, and gift selections
- Accurately process all retail sales through the POS system
- Monitor and track inventory levels
- Maintain a well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing retail space
- Ensure the retail area is kept clean, tidy, and guest-ready at all times
Lodge Support
- Assist with snow removal around lodge entrances and walkways
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the main living and dining areas
- Keep the coffee station clean, stocked, and welcoming
- Participate in guest luggage transfers within the lodge
- Host lodge tours for incoming guests, introducing them to Mica’s spaces and amenities
- Support the Lodge Manager with guest loyalty initiatives and special touches
General
- Uphold and contribute to Mica's service standards
- Maintain Mica Heliskiing dress and appearance standards during all shifts
- Participate in daily morning meetings with lodge staff
- Engage in staff training and scheduled departmental orientation sessions
- Foster positive, respectful relationships with guests, teammates, and company partners

Schedule
This position operates on a varied, shiftwork-based schedule throughout the season (January 2026 through April 8, 2026).
The work schedule is established in advance and will be reviewed and discussed with all shortlisted candidates during the interview process.
