LOGISTICS SUPPORT 

 

 

Summary

We are looking for a full-time, seasonal logistical support staff based in Revelstoke, BC. 

The position follows a shiftwork-based 40 hours per week schedule that will include weekend hours. 

  • Position reports to: Guest Services Manager
  • Work Term: November 15, 2025 - April 15, 2026 (Full time, seasonal)

Job Description

This role has two components:

  1. Estimated 65% is dedicated to directly supporting the Logistics and Guest Services team to ensure efficient and seamless experiences for guests and staff on transfer days.
  2. Estimated 35% office-based and dedicated to transfer day setup and execution, computer-based tasks, general office administration, shipping and receiving, and will include scheduled office hours.  

To be effective, the individual will:

  • Have a working knowledge of Mica’s programs, as well as relevant local suppliers, amenities, and services. 
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and be comfortable in a forward-facing guest services position.
  • Have previous experience in an office environment performing basic office administration tasks including filing, reporting, answering and directing phone calls, accepting deliveries, and ordering supplies.
  • Have current computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Office, and be prepared to learn basic functions of our CRM and PMS systems. 
  • Be able to work independently, as a member of a team, and be an effective multitasker.
  • Be an effective communicator.
  • Maintain an office presence and be prepared to meet and greet Mica guests en route to the lodge, to answer general questions and assist with last-minute requests.
  • Be available in the afternoon prior and the day of transfer days when staff and/or Classic Program guests travel by ground via Revelstoke.
  • Have the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying.
  • Be comfortable operating large passenger vehicles (i.e. F350) and have a clean driving abstract.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide support for transfer day activities, including gathering supplies, assisting staff as necessary to support lodge operations and maintaining transfer day schedule, preparing office for guest arrival and assisting guests during transfers.
  • Perform a variety of office-based tasks to support day-to-day operations, including data entry and database updates, answering and directing calls, receiving and organizing deliveries, pricing retail items, maintaining downstairs storage area, monitoring and reordering office supplies, and maintaining office hours.
  • Maintain open and effective channels of communication with the Guest Services team.
  • Ensure good relations are maintained with company contacts.

Logistics Support

  • Coordinate transfer day schedule with the Guest Services team.
  • Maintain storage area (dispose of garbage / recycling) and organize supplies stored there.
  • Gather supplies (groceries, tools, materials, parts, etc.) for transfer to lodge.  Coordinate supply list with Guest Services.
  • Accept food deliveries at storage unit.
  • Meet staff at storage unit when necessary to assist with loading supplies.
  • Monitor parked staff vehicles and coordinate snow removal when necessary.
  • Monitor truck care/maintenance/location (washing, vacuuming, and fueling) before / after each exchange.
     

Office Support

  • Prepare office for guest transfers: tidy, snacks, coffee, beverages. Meet and greet guests, answer questions, assist with last-minute shopping and requests, and help ensure an on-time departure from Revelstoke.
  • Manage waiver program: review digital waiver submissions, receive hard copy guest waivers, check for accuracy, record and track completed waivers, follow up for incomplete or unsubmitted waivers.
  • Data entry: maintain various databases and update guest information as necessary.
  • Office admin and reception: answer and direct phone calls, reply to initial inquiries to info@ with template email and direct responses to appropriate staff for follow up.
  • Receive, inventory, and organize deliveries.
  • Maintain office storage areas.
  • Price retail items as required.
  • Monitor office supplies and re-order as necessary.
  • Maintain an office presence within office hours, to be scheduled around transfer day duties and office coverage needs (can be scheduled ahead but will vary by week based on transfer days and coworker schedules).

Remuneration

  • Competitive wage based on 40 hours per week during the work term.

     

Schedule

This position will have a varied schedule throughout the season, blending weekdays and some weekends, pending when our transfer days fall. 

The transfer day work schedule is set and will be discussed with all short listed candidates.

Remaining office hours (outside of transfer days) will vary week to week throughout the season.
