HOUSEKEEPER
LODGE SERVICES
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a full-time/seasonal Housekeeper to join our Lodge Team for the 24/25 season.
Primary responsibilities are to perform cleaning duties throughout the lodge, including but not limited to guest rooms and common spaces. This person will endeavor to maintain the highest level of cleanliness around the lodge, ensuring the safety of our guests and staff, and will work to ensure guests receive a consistent, exceptional level of service.
This person is expected to have a strong background in hospitality and be comfortable performing housekeeping duties.
- Reports To: Lodge Manager
- Work Term: December 2025 – April 2026
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES
- Responsible for daily housekeeping in guest rooms and designated common areas
- Responsible for laundry services as required for lodge linens, kitchen linens, and other washables as necessary
- Conduct daily polishing of silverware and napkin folding for dinner service
- Complete general cleaning throughout the lodge as coordinated with the Lodge Manager and ensure lodge cleanliness is maintained to the highest standard throughout each Tour
- Assist Kitchen staff with afternoon dishwashing, cleanup/reset of guest lunch bins and sippy cups, and après-ski set up/teardown
- Turn down guest rooms during dinner service
- Assist with glassware polishing following dinner service
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and advise Lodge Manager when supplies need to be ordered
- Be diligent in maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment in accordance with industry standards, established company practices and current health guidelines
GENERAL
- Provide radio coverage in the afternoons in coordination with the Lodge Manager and other staff
- Assist with lodge orientations for incoming new guests on transfer days, as directed by Lodge Manager
- Participate in daily morning meetings with all lodge staff
- Participate in staff training and scheduled departmental orientation sessions
- Ensure good relations with guests, staff, and company contacts
- Make recommendations on cleaning supplies and housekeeping process improvements if applicable
