Join us for a unique classical music event!

Philip Chiu

In cooperation with classical music-video channel noncerto, Arrow Helicopters and Mica Heliskiing will host a free classical music event in Revelstoke on Saturday, March 12th at 9:00 am.

Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, world-renowned pianist Philip Chiu and soprano Suzanne Rigden will perform outdoors in Grizzly Plaza, located in the heart of Revelstoke, BC.

The concert is free and open to all who wish to attend.

Chiu's international recognition for the brilliance of his playing and his infectious personality have earned him the prestigious Prix Goyer 2015-2016 for Extreme Emerging Artist. This $125,000 prize is the most substantial award presented in Canada and one of the largest in the world for an artist emerging in classical music.

Following the Revelstoke event, the piano will be transported north to Mica Heliskiing where Chiu will perform on a mountain-top in the Mica Heliskiing tenure.  Both concerts will be filmed by noncerto, the classical music-video channel in preparation for Canada’s 150th anniversary.

We hope you can join us for some music in the mountains!
