Available Tour Dates Tour Package Details
Accessible only by helicopter, Mica backcountry lodges include our main Mica lodge and a new deluxe chalet. The two lodges have a combined maximum capacity of 16 guests.
The number of guests is based on private and semi private tours. While the A-Star helicopter can easily manage up to four groups, we only ski three groups of four guests
creating a semi private group heliskiing experience when you book as a group of four, eight or twelve. In response to several group requests, for 2008 we’ve introduced
the option to ski as four individual groups of four skiers plus a guide. This option applies to group bookings only. A private tour will have use of a second helicopter. Ability LevelsMica Heliskiing guests should be confident, intermediate to advanced level skiers/snowboarders in good physical condition. All guests should be aware that our Canadian heli skiing terrain is remote. For those new to this experience, we recommend using our powder skis to ease your transition into backcountry technique. Weather & Snow ConditionsSkiing/Riding at Mica Heliskiing is excellent most of the time, but when it comes to Mother Nature, there is no guarantee. Guests should come prepared to ski/ride a variety of back country snow conditions and dress for temperatures from 0 C to -25 C (32 F to -10 F). Amenities and Communication
With an outdoor hot tub and trained massage therapists, Mica Heliskiing will help you unwind after a day on the mountain. For those looking for even more exercise
after a full day of incredible Canadian heli skiing, there are a few pairs of snowshoes available on a first come first serve basis. Menu PlanPackages include all meals prepared by our world class Chefs. Being a set meal plan, it is very important for guests to inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies well in advance of their arrival. Mica Heliskiing will make every effort to accommodate your dietary needs. We stock a variety of wine, beer and liquor. If you have a particular product request, please advise our reservations staff and we will do our best to accommodate. Cancellation PolicyA 20% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED UPON BOOKING. Full payment is due 120 days in advance of your arrival. Cancellations made within 120 days of arrival are 100% non-refundable. For any cancellation made prior to 120 days of arrival, Mica Heliskiing will retain the deposit. Mica Heliskiing reserves the right to cancel unpaid bookings without notice.
