Big Mountain legend ian Mcintosh

Teton Gravity Research OG Ian Mcintosh is constantly looking for ways to evolve as an athlete. At this point, it might seem like he’s done it all, but that’s just part of the magic of watching him ski.

In Spring 2021, the North Face and Volkl athlete kept it simple, taking advantage of historic conditions to tee up some big mountain lines in British Columbia with his friends Christina Lustenberger and Nick Mcnutt.

Ian is constantly looking for ways to evolve as an athlete and with a career spent charging down some of the steepest faces around the world, he continued his legacy in big mountain skiing last season by claiming a few first descents; one being our iconic Mt Dunkirk.

But then, he just as easily transitions to rocketing down pillow lines, air time in the burn and a guy in his slippers living his best lodge life, sharing some wild and remarkable stories from his travels. For an athlete who has done it all, we can’t wait to see what his next 20 years bring.
